Tattoo aftercare starts in the tattoo shop. Once the tattoo is done, the artist will apply a thin layer of tattoo jelly or moisturizer over the entire tattooed area. They will then cover the area completely with plastic wrap or a bandage.

As tempting as it can be to remove the protective cover to look at the tattoo, the bandage or plastic wrap should stay on for at least a few hours after the process. The length of time will depend on the size and location of the tattoo.

This covering protects the open skin from bacteria, sunlight, and from rubbing against clothing.

Quantum Tattoo Ink was founded in 2011, in North Hollywood, California. Quantum began as a tattoo supply company, but, as the ink quickly gained popularity, the decision was made to leave the supplies behind and focus only on the ink.

Quantum strives to provide artists with the best quality ink on the market. No corners are ever cut. The ingredients used are the best available on the U.S. market. There is no added acrylic in any of the inks. The highest level of sterility is used. The inks are vegan, kosher, and cruelty-free. We have done thorough testing to assure the safety of our inks. Quantum Tattoo Ink is FDA registered, CTL approved, and meets the EU standards for tattoo colorants.

Important Booking Information

– All clients no exceptions will have 2 days to pay 50% deposit to secure bookings,
You will lose your booking date if you fail to comply.
– No EFT will be accepted on day of the tattoo, Make sure that the funds are reflecting
with your artist if you have EFTed it prior to your appointment date
– If you cancel your appointment you forfeit your deposit.
– If for any reason you cannot make your appointment please let us know
48 hour in advance so we can reschedule it.
– If you are going to be more than 30min late let us know.
It will be seen as a no show if you do not contact us and you will forfeit your deposit
and lose your booking.
